Volunteer Opportunities

At LCS, we value the support and involvement of our family volunteers. Your participation not only enriches the student experience but also strengthens our community. To ensure the safety of our students, all parents must complete a background check before volunteering in classrooms, chaperoning field trips, or assisting with overnight trips.

Volunteer Opportunities

Elementary School:

• Field Trip Chaperone: Help supervise and ensure the safety of students on educational field trips.
• Classroom Parties: Assist with organizing and running special classroom parties throughout the year.

Middle and High School Spirit Week:

• Food Donations and Supervision: Sign up to provide food or assist with supervision during Spirit Week activities.

Middle & High School Class Trips:

• 8th Grade: Chaperone the Ark Encounter Overnight Trip.
• 11th Grade: Chaperone the Gettysburg Trip.
• 12th Grade: Chaperone the Washington D.C. Trip.

By volunteering, you not only serve our school and students, but also help build a stronger, more connected LCS community. Together, we can support the growth of our students in faith, character, and academic or extracurricular excellence. We are deeply grateful for your time, talent, and dedication to enriching our Christ-centered learning environment for every student!

• Fund Run: Assist with our annual school-wide fundraiser, from helping organize the event to day-of support.
• Black and Gold Celebration: Volunteer at our flagship community event by helping with setup, coordination, and logistics.
• Maker’s Market: Support this event by assisting with vendor coordination or event operations.

• Game Day Assistance: Help with admissions, concessions, and other game day needs to ensure smooth event operations.
• Team Meals: Volunteer to feed the teams by organizing or providing meals for athletes before or after games.
